Far Within Us

Mistral 05:12
Nothing stays the same water flows over stones, everything moves away entropy enthroned. One day you too will know grief's embrace and stray through lost lands half forgotten opaque recollections - they drift in like timber or floating worlds of plasma, through temporal portals that manifest when you are still Crows wheel above the epoch, footprints on empty plains shall be covered with a thousand layers of dust, Staircases shall burgeon climbing vines, a grin splits the cloud for a second - we're still running. Despite already being dead A lucid breath hits the mistral like feathers ripped from the fallen one, lapsed convictions congregate in the flagstone cracks, ground into acquiescence Under a giant's glare: the fear beyond horizons, the wolves kill the children who wander too far. That is our sacrifice, bones of truth forever.

Built to display, show the danger, the grain of persuasion stuffed with all of your fears. No exit from this; just a line separating earth from air. I cannot turn away. The intricacies of seasons interplay, reflecting the rot upon my face; an unchosen fate - bloodless I stand arms outstretched, greetings cause despair and in the distance... I hear the rifle and the song ringing out in unison. I cannot turn away, and when your seeds have failed I will be dismantled and shoulder the blame. Charred remains observe another blind watcher standing stoic in the field stuffed with all of your fears. Cannot turn away.

Twisting 06:20
Upon the shore, I saw you as water between the stones flowing outward to the ash-dimmed sky, the hot coals of stars balanced, reflecting from your movements dance in the ebb and flow. A steady step, a cloven hoof, a black cloak flows around you. Twisting like the undertow clinging to a body's mass that has lost the battle upon the timeless stones of the shore, tides retreat to reveal dead remains borne upon the freezing sand, floating in the ocean mist. Twisting like the undertow upon the timeless stones Flowing outward to the ash-dimmed sky balanced, reflecting in your movements upon the shore a slow, wading gradient, the rust of a blade recovered, stepping towards a weightless state where light itself is no-more. Upon the shore.

The waxen night is beginning to char the fingers of dawn the night seems to be running out of darkness steel branches grasp at the arms of passers-by only anonymous furnaces are free are free to walk the streets which cut across our sleeplessness, who's free to walk the streets which cut across our sleeplessness? In the gutters our stars decline. From the marks upon my brow you watch until day breaks, upon our expressions; afterglow of gestures. (extracted and adapted from 'Far Within Us #5' and 'Far Within Us #6' by Vasko Popa)

Incomplete the blooms will fall your eyes are poison in the evening, dusk filling the valleys with blood or the echoes of resentment. A system half explained, my limbs exhausted, our bodies draped in robes of air. The sun is cold somehow disheartened. Our words could never halt the waves the directions remain I would like to remember faces in the dark gathered by the dying fire. We are weary, we are poisoned and incomplete. The sun is cold somehow disheartened. Incomplete the blooms will fall your eyes are poison in the evening, dusk filling the valleys with blood filling the valleys with blood.

about

The nights seem to be
running out of darkness

Steel branches grasp
The arms of passers-by

Only anonymous furnaces
Are free to walk the streets
Which cut across our sleeplessness

In the gutters our stars decline
